Practically New Zamberlan Women's 310 Skill GT Hiking Boots US 8 (40 Euro).
Waterproof.  Gore-Tex lining. Full grain upper. Single piece of leather (including tongue) all the way to the heel...better than 996 Vioz GT. Rock-forward wide lug Vibram outsole.
Worn only once on a sidewalk for less than an hour...barely perceptible scuff on toe of left foot.  Extremely comfortable construction, but unfortunately a little narrow for my extra wide foot.

These boots excel in comfort, fit and weight.  The sole is very effective in slippery, wet conditions. The rubber's combination of softness and hardness adds to the comfort on long hikes, as does the removable inner sole liner. This boot will also accept microspikes or full-on crampons.
The third set of lace loops from the top are the self-locking type. This allows for differential tightening of the top or lower portion of the lace pattern.
The upper leather is seamless except for the two running down back of the outer heel; even the tongue is seamless. This makes for a more comfortable fit and better waterproofing.
