Use Weir II for water fall:
Weir  II are designed with simple way to make water fall feature of 17" wide water fall curtain to the pond and create turbulence to increase the oxygen level.  Weir I & II are the same shape.  The only different thing is that Weir II has a extra water plate which water can flow along the W flow shape mold.  Weir I & II can be hidden behind rocks to create a natural appearing water fall.  When you install Weir I & II to make water fall, make an exact water level that water flows evenly over the fall.  When you want to make stair step pattern for cascade, install two or more Weir just like stairs.
Use Weir II for Filtration System:
Weir II can be used also to offer bio mechanical filtration that supports the growth of beneficial bacteria.  For filtration system, bio-balls, ceramic rings, wire brush and foam filter etc. should be filled in the weir.  All are necessary things for biological and mechanical filtration
