Easily restored. Fine fluid resonance centered sweet tone with a ghostly spread.
Two superficial cracks at top tenon. See photos. Tenon is lined though to the body, but cracks extend slightly passed that.. May be resin filled, but cyanoacrylate would more easily mend them. The thickest part of the short cracks are at .0015" to .0001" see exaggerated magnification in photos. They have not moved in over 25 years of uncontrolled. storage.
There is a small piece of wood broken off below the D tone hole (see picture) but does in no way affect any part of the tone hole, This can be repaired by any Zuni silversmith or an exceptional woodwind repair technicians.
The mechanics are all good and no sign of bent keys and previous work
The C and C# rollers and corresponding screws are missing. The threads are good.
The pad screws and retainers are all there.

I was informed by a member of the Flute Forum on Facebook, that this flute was indeed made in London England, and that makes sense given the style of ribs and key work.
The individual stated that his flute was made in 1900 which a reasonable. No serial number was given, therefore this instrument may well be older. Unfortunately I am unable to confirm or estimate the date with a comparable photograph and serial number. Good luck bidding. And confirming a recent question. Yes, the pitch is C. And the A note does center on 440 hertz on a strobe tuner. Has a great tone.

The bore is excellent; it is highly polished and free of defects. I can rig a spot light and soft clamp to hold it while using my cell phone if need be. But accept my added description. The wood is excellent.
