    Clementi Nicholson Improved Wooden Flute.
    This is a genuine Clementi Nicholson Improved Flute is cocuswood and genuine silver. There are several cracks to the once shortened barrel and one to the bottom of the head joint which does not extend to the embouchure. This D flute plays at A=440 with the head joint pulled out as shown. The keys have all been checked and adjusted by a well-known repairer of antique English flutes in CaliFornia. The joints are all tight. Serial number is 2084. It is attractive and will be shipped in the pictured wooden case.
